Project: Replacement oast cowls Client: Caxtons Value: £50,000

Replacement oast cowls completed.  Once scaffold was erected, closer inspection revealed the cowls dated back to 1924 and in much need of some renovation!  Our carpenters carefully dismantled and recorded the existing set out in ordered to replicate with new timber.  Works included partial replacement of the plinths and some leadwork.  Before and after photos below.
